QuestNet-Sponsored MY QI-Meritus.Mahara Ready for Middle East Tour

Fresh from a Southeast Asia media blitz in Sepang, Malaysia, QuestNet-sponsored MY QI-Meritus.Mahara is now setting their sights on repeating success from their first race in Shanghai.

Kiwi driver Earl Bamber, an 18-year-old racing prodigy and a product of QI-Meritus racing, has shown he has Formula One potential by being the youngest ever to reach the podium in the GP2 Asia Series.

Says Bamber, "We are the only Asian team on the grid but we have big ambitions. Our main goal this season is to win the team title. I believe we are on the right track. The GP2 Series is without doubt, the hardest championship I have raced in but the China results have given my confidence a big boost. I'm sure MY QI-Meritus.Mahara can challenge for the team title."

Bamber and his Malaysian counterpart Alex Yoong will make their way to the Middle East for the race in Dubai on 5-6 December 2008.
