QuestNet Online Magazine Qpportunity: "QuestNet Sponsors the Amman Rally in Germany


One of the greatest automobile adventures in the world, the Allgäu-Orient-Rally from Oberstaufen, Germany to Amman, Jordan starts on 2 May 2009. The rally is purely for fun and adventure and aims to build a better international understanding, contact with the other cultures, and to support a good social cause. Over 150 cars, each valued no more than USD 3,000.00, will be driven by maximum teams of six. In support of this fun filled event, QuestNet will be sponsoring the Amman Express team from Germany.

For the Asian leg of the rally, teams will make stops in Turkey and Syria, and finish off with a charity celebration in Jordan. Through its four years of existence, the Allgäu-Orient-Rally has developed a relationship with The United Nations World Food Program (UNWFP). Once the rally finishes in Amman, all cars participating in the event will be donated and distributed by the Jordanian Royal Family. From the sales of the vehicles parts, the UN WFP will be able to contribute to the local cheese-making factory project.
